Ambulances for Kharkiv
These ambulances save lives by evacuating wounded civilians and soldiers every day from the war zone to hospitals in Ukraine.
Five ambulances secured for hospitals in the Kharkiv region are already making a difference, helping evacuate wounded civilians and soldiers from the war zone to hospitals.
The five high-quality ambulances we secured for hospitals in the Kharkiv region are serving well, and we have received especially warm and heartfelt thanks from the medical team in the Kharkiv border region for this support. Additional deliveries have included hospital beds, wheelchairs, and first aid supplies. As of this writing, we have also delivered more than 5,000 fire extinguishers to the Sumy, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions.
These ambulances save lives by evacuating dozens of wounded civilians and soldiers every day from the war zone to hospitals. More ambulances are urgently needed.
During the war, 140,000 Ukrainian soldiers, dads and husbands, have lost their lives. Most of the men and women who have lost their lives in the war were married and had families. Current statistics indicate that 59,000 children are without their biological father or mother. Over the past year, Russia has increasingly targeted hospitals, supermarkets, apartment buildings, and gas stations, while continuing to destroy power plants, grids, gas reserves, fuel storage sites, and ports. These attacks on civilians have aimed to crush Ukrainian morale and drive people into despair.
Easter is behind us. But for Ukraine, the grieving spirit of Ukraine’s “Good Friday” continues. Yet we know that Good Friday was not the end of the story. Resurrection Sunday followed. We all hold onto hope that the war may end, God willing, possibly this year. Until that day comes, Ukraine still needs our help. We will continue humanitarian aid until the country reaches its own resurrection day — a morning of peace, reunited families, blue skies, and golden fields flourishing once again.
