Wood-Burning Stoves for Families in Ukraine

20 April, 2026

GCMM continues delivering wood-burning stoves, generators, and backup power units to families in Ukraine, bringing warmth and electricity to households in urgent need.

First, a warm thank you for your financial support this past winter. Ukraine has survived the bitter, freezing temperatures of winter, and many were left without power or running water. Russia has continued its indiscriminate bombings and terror. The strategy was to deprive Ukrainians of the very essentials needed to sustain life.

In the heart of winter, GCMM delivered wood-burning stoves, generators, and backup power units to thousands of households, supplying them with warmth and electricity. In addition, food, potatoes, carrots, onions, flour, food parcels, and canned goods were distributed to families in frontline villages. Deliveries also included woollen socks, shoes, and protective clothing.

We continue to deliver wood-burning stoves nonstop. They are manufactured at two metalwork facilities, one in Kyiv and the other in the frontline city of Zaporizhzhia. Thanks to your support this past fall and winter, we have funded 3,000 additional stoves. Since the fall of 2022, we have delivered approximately 20,000 stoves in total. Recently we ordered another 1,000 stoves.

With next winter’s challenges already on the horizon, the wood-burning stove factories are ready to continue production throughout the spring, summer, and fall. Since production takes time, stoves must be made well in advance to ensure emergency aid can reach people quickly when winter arrives. The need is urgent. Fundraising is ongoing, as we continue to receive new requests for wood-burning stoves faster than we can produce them.

On behalf of Ukrainian families, please accept their deepest gratitude and ours for your part in making this possible.
